Dress Code in Paramus, NJ

There is a long history of uniforms and dress codes at Catholic schools. At convent schools and academies, high school dress codes may have originally helped distinguish students from novitiates. And as Catholic schools became more numerous, the idea of dress codes and uniforms came along with the founding orders of these new institutions.

Dressing uniformly serves to encourage school spirit and set Catholic school students apart from other schools. It also helps us honor the Christian teaching that all people are the same in the eyes of God. Paramus Catholic High School encourages parents and students to make any required uniform purchases from Flynn O’Hara before the beginning of the school year.

High School Dress Code Requirements

The details regarding our high school dress code are also laid out in the Student Handbook, which is posted on Blackbaud. There are a few rules or options regarding the standard dress code that only apply to boys or girls.
