2022 - 2023 Paramus Catholic Service Hour Requirements:

 

Freshmen Service Hour Requirements:

First Quarter – 5 Hours due October 28, 2022

Second Quarter - 4 hours due January 13, 2023

Third Quarter - 4 hours due March 16, 2023

Fourth Quarter - 2 hours due June 5, 2023

Total Hours Owed = 15 hours

 

Sophomore Service Hour Requirements:

First Quarter – 7 Hours due October 28, 2022

Second Quarter - 6 hours due January 13, 2023

Third Quarter - 5 hours due March 16, 2023

Fourth Quarter - 2 hours due June 5, 2023

Total Hours Owed = 20 hours

 

Junior Service Hour Requirements:

First Quarter – 8 Hours due October 28, 2022

Second Quarter - 7 hours due January 13, 2023

Third Quarter - 6 hours due March 16, 2023

Fourth Quarter - 4 hours due June 5, 2023

Total Hours Owed = 25 hours

 

Senior Service Hour Requirements:

First Quarter – 8 Hours due October 28, 2022

Second Quarter - 7 hours due January 13, 2023

Third Quarter - 6 hours due March 16, 2023

Fourth Quarter - 4 hours due May 4, 2023

Total Hours Owed = 25 hours

 

Senior Aquinas Scholar Service Hour Requirements:

First Quarter – 10 Hours due October 28, 2022

Second Quarter - 10 hours due January 13, 2023

Third Quarter - 10 hours due March 16, 2023

Fourth Quarter - 10 hours due May 4, 2023

Total Hours Owed = 40 hour

 

The deadline for the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Award is April 26, 2023. This award acknowledges the students who have gone above and beyond their service requirements by volunteering more than 100 hours of community service for the school year.

 

At the end of the school year, a student from each grade level will be selected who has completed/submitted the most service hours for their grade level and that student will be awarded the “Most Service Completed by Grade Level.”

 

The submission of these service hours are done within the students' Theology classes and they count for 10 percent of the students' overall Theology grade.

 

Failure to submit their service hours by the deadlines stated in their individual Theology classes will be reflected in their Theology grade.

 

Students that fail to submit services hours in their Theology classes will receive an (SI) or Service Incomplete for the Quarter that they have failed to submit them for.
