Paramus Catholic continues to provide its students with new computer technology. Utilizing Citrix Thin Client technology, a virtual Learning Desktop has been implemented to provide anywhere, anytime access to the school’s data network. This environment is available 24 hours a day via our school website or from any of over 450 computer workstations in the school. Each student has a login ID and home folder and access to a wealth of resources including internet access, online library research subscriptions, productivity applications, and the school’s Intranet. Four computer labs furnished with the latest software and technology are available for students to use. One of these labs also serves as a writing and International Language lab. Smaller labs are also in service, including the Assister Learning lab, and digital video editing lab. Three mobile wireless laptop labs are also available for teachers to integrate technology directly into their classrooms. Most classrooms have permanent LCD projectors and Electronic Whiteboards, which are directly connected to the school network for technology integration in the classroom.
