 Seton Hall University

 
Requirements: A Paramus Catholic High School senior student accepted to Seton Hall University for Fall 2010.
Award: $7,000 scholarship (may be paired with sibling grant and other aid including academic, athletic and alumni scholarships.
 
 
 
Saint Francis University Franciscan Scholarship
 
Requirements: Awarded to all graduates of Catholic H.S., students must apply and be accepted to Saint Francis University
Award: $1,500 per year for up to four years of undergraduate study
 
 
 
 
 THE 200 CLUB OF BERGEN COUNTY
 
 Requirements: graduating h.s. senior and theh child or stepchild of an active, retired or deceased Bergen County law enforcement officer, fire fighter or ambulance corps members.
Deadline: April 21, 2010 at 5:00 PM
Award: Range from $5,000-$12,000
 
 
 
NJ CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME ASSOCIATION, INC.
 
Requirements: graduating senior who has Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
Deadline: April 19, 2010
 
 
 
THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY- NATIONAL BUCKEYE SCHOLARSHIP
 
Requirements: prospective out-of-state college-bound seniors with an ACT composite score of 27 or higher and a combined SAT Critical Reading and Math Scores of 1220 or higher.
Award: $7200 per year ($28,800 four-year value)
 
 
 
ALVERNIA UNIVERSITY MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
Requirements: based on GPA and admission to Alvernia University
Award: $1000-$12,000
 
 
 
NJ VIETNAM VETERANS' MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
 
Requirements:  College-bound seniors (college, community college, trade school), NJ Resident, applicant has visited NJ Vietnam Veterans' Memorial.
Deadline: April 16, 2010 at 5:00 PM
Award: 2 $2,500 scholarships
 
 
 
THE VALLEY HOSPITAL- STRINGER/FEATHERSTONE NURSING SCHOLARSHIP
 
Requirements: must plan to attend an educational institution that is accredited by the National League for Nursing or other qualified accrediting agencies.
 
 
 
MELISSA ANNE CENTRELLA SCHOLARSHIP FUND
 
Requirements: seniors graduating from high schools in New Jersey
Award: 5 $2,000 scholarships, 5 $1,500 scholarships, and 5 $1,000 scholarships
 
 
 THE VALLEY HOSPITAL AUXILIARY
 
Requirements: 2010 high school graduate attending school and residing in a community served by The Valley Hospital who plans to pursue a career in a health related field and needs financial aid.
Deadline: May 1, 2010  (REQUIRE the filing of CSS/Financial Aid Profile from by March 1, 2010.

ARMENIAN RELIEF SOCIETY
 
Requirements: High School college-bound seniors of Armeian heritage who are residents of the US and have resided in Bergen County for not less than a year.
Deadline: April 30, 2010
Award: $750.00 for 2010-2011 academic year

FELICIAN COLLEGE (NJ FOOD COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP)
 
Requirements: apply and be accepted to Felician College. File the FAFSA, complete application and essay, and eligible if you or a member of your immediate family (spouse, parent or sibling) is an employee in the food industry.
Deadline: June 1, 2010
Award: annual, full tuition, four-year academic scholarship
 
MARINE TRADES ASSOCIATION
 
Requirements: any student interested in pursuing a career in the marine industry.
Award: MTA/NJ Education Scholarship of $3,000 and the Automotive Training Center Scholarship of $18,000 for the Marine Service Technology Program at the Automotive Training Center in PA.
 
 
KEITH HIGHTOWER SCHOLARSHIP COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF NJ
 
Requirements: graduating senior from any northern NJ public, private or parochial secondary school.
Deadline: May 17, 2010
Award: not less than $4,000

Requirements: graduating senior and current resident of Wood-Ridge.

Requirements: all seniors who are residents of the Township of Washington.

BP COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
 
Requirements: all seniors who plan to attend a two-year or four-year college in the fall of 2010.

Requirements: must reside in the corporate limits of the borough of Maywood or be a son/grandson or daughter/granddaughter of a Member of American Legion Post 142.
