Reunions
Paramus Catholic knows how important it is for former students to reunite and celebrate their graduation. Here at PC we are dedicated to making your class reunion a grand celebration. Please allow us to help you coordinate your reunion and be a part of your special evening. Many websites offer to assist you in your reunion efforts but charge a fee and have no affiliation with the school. In order to ensure a beautiful evening among classmates, please call me at 201.445.4466 x186, or email ecrespo at paramus-catholic.org to begin your reunion process.
Class of 1978
Neither Rain, Nor Sleet, Nor Dark of Night...
Could keep the Class of 1978 down! Though near-torrential rains caused the festivities to begin to candlelight, these alumns could not be deterred from returning to their alma mater. The evening was months in the making and, the organizers decided there was no better place to reunite the class of 1978 than the halls of PC.
Organizer Ellen Bonaventura was happy to return to PC for the class’s 30th reunion after having their 10th and 20th reunions elsewhere. She said of the experience “The staff at PC, especially Holland Mac (‘02) and Eric Crespo (‘97), were phenomenal.” Even the blackout, she noted, did not cause a “freak out and the class is indebted to PC’s efforts.”
A slideshow ran throughout the evening with snapshots of the good old days at PC. The class also hosted a 50/50 raffle, donating the proceeds to the PC scholarship fund.
Both Boys’ and Girls’ school alums walked the halls and through “the wall” that once divided them. The lack of electricity didn’t even slow down the international buffet dinner, provided by PC’s in-house caterers. Classmates were reunited and, not too late in the evening, there was light! In the swirling disco of the PC gymnasium, the class of 1978 danced the night away.
